Hi guys, I picked up this little sweetheart recently and am trying to figure out exactly which model of StarCraft it is.
Slightly less than 16 feet with forward and rear facing bench seat. Thanks

Man, that's a sweet little rig right there... is it your dingy for the Islander?

The 1st thing that comes to my mind is an Nassau. GA_Boater may be able to confirm (most of the brochures are hosed).

The 2011 SOTY was a Nassau by tgp*** which is probably why its my 1st guess...unfortunately photobucket smeared all of the images except the 1st one.

The splashwell is all wrong for a Nassau. The windshield looks like it might be a replacement.

I'll see what I can find. The brochures are hosed for me too and takes some time to find things. Unrooly1 Got any paperwork with the year to help find something?

Thanks for the responses guys.
This will be my smaller lake fishing boat, Islander is for Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
The last registration has it listed as a 1977 Homemade.

There isn't a capacity or horsepower rating tag that I;ve found. I;m mostly wanting to know which model it is so that I can figure out which motor to put on it.
I have a 40hp Yamaha, A 60 hp Evinrude and a 70 hp merc.. I am favouring the 70 hp but worry it could be a bit much

If its 15ft 6in maybe the more modest 60hp

15ft 9in, 70hp.....

Either way if you're rebuilding it w a new 1.5in plywood transom, you'd probably be fine w the 70hp....

does it have 1 or 3 knee braces at the transom?

Boat has three braces at inner transom.
Was talking to an older guy at a marina today and he says the boat is a Jet.
Possible ?
