help I am confused!!!!!

I purchased a 1975 220 srv. it came with a 351w but it has a volvo penta tag on the manifold that says AQ240A/280 underneath that it says 6Y70205/1235.
Question 1) what does that mean?

I am assuming that at some point the leg was changed cause it has a newer style leg, mercruiser from what I have read it is 83 and newer version but of what model I am not sure.
Question 2) the serial # is 38481 how do I identify the model

AQ240A is the model number Volvo gave the 351 ford engine it was using in the mid 70s. 280 would have been the outdrive model number the boat originally used.

Can't help with the Merc info.

Post pics of the drive.Possible they swapped the motor.From Mercruiser to Volvo.Without seeing it's hard to tell.Yet easy to guess.J
