Hi all. I have a 18' Holiday of '66 or '67 vintage powered by a 115 Johnson outboard. It's painted in that sweet looking seafoam green of that era!!!! The interior is green, as in Lawn Boy green. The original avacado green was replaced around '86 at one time. So, it needs to be out out of it's misery and get a restoration. :p
I am looking for ideas regarding new guages, underfloor gas tank, seats (most likely pedestal) and a bench seat back by the splashwell. Anyone else contemplating a restore on a aluminum Starcraft? I have pics of my boat over there http://groups.yahoo.com/group/starcraft_boats/

MBJ, what's your handle there??? I'm there as well...same name..walleyehed.
My supersport was a total refurb as well...drove almost 1000 rivets in the beast..designed my own consoles to fit a windshield from a 2002 model.
4 pedestals, driver and left seat, 1 on casting platform and 1 in the rear for my partner..
4 year project..being an aircraft mechanic helped a bunch when working on the aluminum parts..
If I can help ya at all, feel free to ask...this was my second supersport refurb. This is a 1979 the first was a 1975 in that beautiful green you speak of...

Walleyehed,
Yeah, I'm on there. No handle, just my name. Probably should use this one over there but...
4 years to refurb yours??
I hope to have mine done in a couple of months. I am going to stage everything and do the motor, boat, and meybe the trailor at the same time if I can swing the $$$ and the time and resource.
I do have questions, specially the one regarding a 200 "rude with 150 decals" on your SS. :D We will talk later, ok?

Thanks alot
