The shaft on my Minn Kota power drive has been to the metal shop for straightening a few times. The usual cause is my tourney partner running into docks and logs. He bent it so bad once that it couldn't be stowed. He had to sit in the bow holding it while we ran about 10 miles back to the weigh in. It was a ride he will remember for a long time.
I had the trasom mount troller on the back beside my 50hp. was bow fishing. my buddy was on the back manning the motor. have not put the bow mount on yet. i had just arrow a huge carp and we were excited. must have forgotten to put it back up. had a fellow boater wave me over wondering what the big roost was coming from the back.

OOOPS!!
kicker down too often to remember all. mushroom anchor with rope long enough to get in prop...once. with shortened rope...several. bow line that fouled main and kicker befor i figured out what the problem was...once. fish hung over side...at least once a trip. halibut plane real good.
Bent the shear pin on mine last weekend, left it fully turned left and hit the throttle, made a lot of noise and caused me to purchase a new prop. WHOOPS!
