Re: Great Weekend

I had a pretty good day today. I got a late start but managed to get out and have some fun. It was just me and my 5yr old son. I launched the boat solo and used some of the tips and tricks I've learned while reading here. We just ran the boat around Charlotte Harbor and stopped at the Port Charlotte public beach complex. Lots of PWC kiddies running around carelessly.

We beached and my son got some swimming and shell collecting in. Had a great day and it boosted my confidence too!

Tom

Re: Great Weekend

Three days on Lake Mead. Boat ran perfectly. :D Best weather was on Friday, wind blew steady on Saturday, 40 - 50 MPH on Sunday! Managed the rougher conditions on Sunday well, but coming off plane before entering the marina at the end of the day, I poked through the very last wind wave before the entrance. My eyes were focused just past the wave as I was concentrating more on the narrow slot between the shore and the floating tires. I am still drying her out and probably destroyed my digital camera . . .

Re: Great Weekend

We had pretty good weather at the Jersey Shore over the weekend. I was able to overcome some significant engine issues without much extra $$, and then the boat ran well. The bay was a bit choppy both Sunday and Monday, but the ocean was very smooth. We had poor fishing on both days however. The ocean is still too cold and the bay a bit too warm for the fish to cooperate.
