Nice and compact.
My carry is a Browning Hi-Power. It's a bit large for carry, but it's been good to me over the years.
I use an in the waistband holster.

I did too ... I just don't know what it is yet! I won a Mossberg 500 Classic 12 ga in a gun raffle that my fire department does. However, the gun shop that is to supply the guns does not have it in stock. The bummer is I get a check made out to them for the wholesale value of the gun, but since they don't have it in stock, I either wait for it or I use my wholesale check to buy something else retail from the shop. Hmmm ... the shop and I could have words when I get there next week ...

I had a Browning 9, w/ shoulder stock/holster, 21 rnd mag. 1950's mint and sold it 30 yrs ago because I needed the $ - a stupid mistake

That's where in-the-waistband holsters are good. Just don't tuck your shirt in.

My eyes fail me. Even if it was well used it would be cheap...

Just stopped in to look around at the local gun shop yesterday and could not believe today's ammo prices. $95 wouldn't even cover 100 rounds of 9mm.
You're lucky to find ammo. Last I looked our shelves are pretty bare.....
