So, the boat had some leaf litter caught between the hatch that covers the swim ladder. I got them out and cleaned it with 303 multi purpose cleaner but the stains remain. What is a safe thing to use on fiberglass to get rid of it?

Put the boat out in the sun for a few days and the stains will go away.
Short term, try mildew remover - same stuff you would use on your seats.

oxalic acid will remove the tanic stains

its the active ingredient in hull cleaners and toilet bowl cleaners

you can buy it cheap to mix yourself or get sno-bowl cleaner from the dollar store

Spray with regular old bleach.Wait a minute and rinse well with water.Repeat if necessary. That WILL get rid of leaf residue.Been there....done that!! Though most here will warn you that bleach is the antichrist..Lol ..Gimme a break..Charlie
