I need to fix some stress cracks on the swim platform of my O'Day 322. It seems the swim ladder wasn't properly backed up. I plan on addressing that issue then by using some magic and voodo I'll try for a color match.

My question is, how can I duplicate the non-skid textured area? I heard something about using a silicon mold? Any suggestions are appriciated.
Thanks!!

Check out the current issue (2002 Issue #4) of DIY Marine Magazine. They have a nice article on repair and replacement of non-skid, including ways to match the existing pattern. It looks pretty straightforward. The article should also be posted on their web site www.diy-boat.com

One more question.
What can I use for a template to recreate the pattern of the non-skid? The DIY article didn't cover that.
