Noobie here. (as far as this DIY maintenance) 2004 merc 5.0L w/ Bravo 3. I just pulled the outdrive and engine to replace coupler. I have that under control- I think. But I cannot figure out how the gear lube monitor hose connects to the outdrive. I see the hose entering the transom assembly and I cannot see anywhere that it goes into the outdrive. I assume that it works ok- but I am the kind of guy that wants to know HOW it works. I want to see the connection and see what is going on. The only connections to the outdrive were the speedometer intake and the shifter cable. What am I missing here? I have looked at if front and back, and searched the manual and this forum for hours and cannot figure it out. Thanks.
