Gasket / seal kit from 2002 and 2012

Hello folks,

i have bought parts online for my Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2 seal kit for upper and lower unit and on the package
date of mfg is 2002 and 2012 , my drive is from 2005 and the question is are these kits are junk or may be okay?!
Package is new but the date... is it fine to install it?
Im not from US so thats why i have to ordered it from eBay...

I would have no issue with the 2012, but the 02 would have me looking closer. If they are Merc parts they may still be good but I wuldn't use an impeller which is that old
