Force motor year

I am trying to determine if my motor is a 1987 or 1988; the model number is 507Y9B,<br /> with a serial number of 1116.<br /><br />Can anyone help me?

goto www.dougrussel.com<br /><br />and look up your year model and size, it lists those model numbers and where they fall<br /><br />they list that number under the 1989 50 Hp Force engines
