Fog It?

Hi Guys,<br /> Is it OK to storage fog a EFI Mercruiser engine? My diesel mechanic neighbor says that it may clog the injectors since it is so sticky. Do you just shoot the fog down the air intake?<br />Thanks for your attention.<br /> RiverBoaterBill

Get a small outboard fuel tank and mix it at 50:1.Add fuel stabalizer for the amount of fuel in the ob tank.Connect it to the engine where the boats fuel line is and run the engine for 10 minutes.This will fog the engine and prevent the fuel in the system going bad.

****s advice is sound.Whatever you do ,DO NOT go shooting anything down that intake plenum.It is lined with special material that can be compromised by anything other than clean air.If you want some added protection, pull the plugs and fill each cylinder with fogging oil.

No need to fog.Just put some gas stabalizer in and will be fine.
