I need to replace some sections of floor that are soft and need to get an education on the how-to's and products to use. Is there a sticky post or something I can read to get up to speed quickly?

Re: floor repair info

Any time you have multiple soft spots in your deck, it usually indicates more significant issues below deck. There are stringers and bulkheads in some cases that support your deck. They could also be soft and rotting. In most cases it is best to remove and replace the entire deck if you are wanting to keep the boat and restore it to good functional usage. Lots of threads here on the forum that "Show and Tell" you how others have done theirs.

This is a good one to start with...

Spot on.. If your REALLY lucky it's just the floor. Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. Just my $.02 (WOG, the super duper secret code doesn't work on a MAC; either that or I'm having a re-re- moment :) ) Good to be back!
