<br /><br />Now days this catch would have resulted in a stiff fine and maybe a boat forfeiture. Back then this catch would help feed the three families that lived on the lake along with the wild rice that was harvested in the fall.<br /><br />There were no Super Markets so to speak back then and fifteen miles on a horse was an all day affair to get the other main staples that were needed. <br /><br />How times have changed in a 100 years..
