We have tournaments at work every other thursday. I think they are planning to call it off til the water subsides. If not, what do you recomend for fishing in flooded areas? The tournaments are on the Cumberland River, which is well above it's banks as of yet. I wonder if picnic tables would be good cover for large mouth? Or, may be a car that was too close to waters edge before the waters had risen? Oh, I got it! We just had a concert that comes throu Nashville once a year called "RiverStages". I saw on the news that there was a Budwieser truck that was left after the concert and was submersed in water. They said on the news there are over 500 cases of beer in tha thing. I bet ther is some good keepers under there. Well at least maybe a homeless person who upon noticing what was there, got together with a few of his homeless buddies adn decided they would try a recovery mission. Got a rope and swam out and the current was too strong,....well, you get the picture. Man I hope they call it off.

Water that is a little high you need to fish in the trees and such where the fish don't normally have a chance to go. Big problem with high water is that they have much more places to go and are a lot more spread out. What it sounds like you have going on is a LOT high almost to the point of dangerous if not past that. Personally I would just sit this one out even if they had it unless I could get the boat to the beer truck then it would be party time LOL.
