Fishing or swiming.<br />About 35 years ago i had a 12 ft alum boat with a mer 7.5. Took the family i thought for a fishing pinic trip to the shandoah river. Placed everything in boat except family. This motor would only start in gear since there was no netural on it. It did not want to start so i increase throttle to fast. Needless to say it started and stood straight up dumping me and all equipment in the river, like a fool once all equip was retreived i not only did it twice but managed to accomplish this three times. I managed to draw quite a crowd from 25 or more fisherman that got quite a laugh at my expense. I retreived all equipment pack it up went home and traded the 7.5. for a 3 hp johnson even up. Wife does not trust me to this day. She states and tell's everyone that prepare to get wet if they go with me, says everyone comes back wet, and in some cases she is correct. But that is more stories.
