Well since my Formula 242 has been in various stages of dis-assembly and repair since last October with engine and structural work, today was the first day out on the water. Overall a great day, the boat performed OK, but I think there are still few tweaks needed for the engine and fuel system, etc.
We got out early and the bay was very flat due to the offshore breeze. A good day for Boston Whalers !!!
Here are some photos from the day . . .
Just set the anchor not too far off the beach . . .
Enjoying a Breakfast Beer
Nobody at the beach, 'cuz it was a bit nippy and the water is still pretty cold. We usually don't get these sort of days until September . . .
The Admiral and I were discussing the virtues of the brand spanking new Grady-White Freedom 335 that we saw as we were coming out of the harbor
Back at the mooring, and getting ready to row my dinghy back to the dock.
I noticed that all 3 windmills were going over the past couple of days. So, I guess the neighborhood protest lost its battle . . .
We had to cut the day short as we needed to leave early, but it was good to have the boat back together and be out on the water.
