good morning fellow fisher men,
yesterday was finally "my" day for an independent fishing day. all season, which has ammounted to 52 fishin days since april 15, i have brought out on virtually every trip my fahter n law, brother n law and paul who is my constant fishn partner, and numerous colleagues and neighbors. i believe in making sure every one cathes fish, many times i am the guide, navigator and not the fisherman.

yesterday however i declared to my wife "this is my day" so i hooked up the alumacraft 175 cs, wchich she surprised me with as a anniversry presnt this past spring and headed to chateaguay lake, nesteled in the foot hills of adirondack mountains in up state NY. "my" day turned out to be great, i hooked onto 3, three foot northern pike and 7 nice sized small mouths. the only problem was i had no one to hold the camera and take pix of me, so i layed the catch on the carpet of the boat and did the best i can, then let released them.

there is no greater feeling than having your fishing buddies hook into great fighting fish, unless it is me hooking into them for a change
