Favourite Magazines

G'day all,<br />I'm from Western Australia and have an enormous interest in overseas fishing and techniques and I wondered if any of you could suggest favourite fishing magazines in the US that you like, I'll then try and get a subscription if it's available. I would prefer general types of writing not specifically big game. I do subscribe to Saltwater Sportsman already.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Lez

For the most varied coverage of fishing be it species, locations or techniques I would have to say In-Fisherman magazine. Unlike the only other magazine I buy it is strictly fishing no wasted space.

Hello Auslez!!!! <br /><br />Fly Fishing in Salt Waters www.flyfishinsalt.com in my opinon is an excellent magazine. It has articles from bone fishing to big game fishing from all over the world. And also has fly tying techniques.<br /><br />The Unorthodox Flyfisher

Auslez,<br /> I agree with Peterfishbuster, In-Fisherman Mag. explains alot of different techniques and shows different tackle and tricks on how to use them.

Auslez, <br />Florida Sportsman is a good regional fishing mag. They also have articles about conservation, etc. Check them out on the web at www.floridasportsman.com Of course they are limited to species found in the southern US. They have nice pictures and if your a chick (shiela??) in a bikini, you are sure to get your picture published!

and if you can't get a subscription, you should be at least able to order good In-Fisherman videos off the internet
