evinrude temp sensor

have a 1986 225 hp v6 evinrude.... want to replace the bolt on temp senders that are not working with the threaded temp senders the go into the holes on the cvlinder heads..any idea what part number this would be from teleflex, or what sixe thread

You need to replace the threaded in temp sensors with the ones that come from OMC. There is two type os senders with different OHMS. They need to be matched to your guage. Unfortunately they only work with the OMC Guages. So you will ne to replace the sendor and Guage if your guage is not an OMC.

Or stick with what you got.
