hi, i must say when i get one prob fixed and ready to got to the lake i always seem to find something else that has gone wrong. i have a 85 115 rude vro and i took it to my local lake and backed her in the water and just let her sit there and run for a good 15 minutes first time in a couple months she has ran in lake water. after she warmed up i left it on the trailer and engauge the throttle and it would bog down and die.it might be stupid of me but did it bog down cause all the weight it was trying to push. i would have taken her out on ther water but i had my 12 year old brother and we had no life jackets. please help with any info and i really thank all you guys who give excellent responses. so many time u guys and gals have helped me out of a sticky situation. thanx!!!!!
tex.

Sounds like a fuel supply problem.Could be as simple as a closed or plugged tank vent.Does the primer bulb pump up hard? If it colapses wnen you run could be the vent or a plugged line or filter.
Could be as bad as a carb or fuel pump rebuild.
Before starting any repairs get a ser. manual.
Good luck.

check for spark on all cylinders. Sounds like you may have an ignition coil/powerpack that went bad. Also, please don't even put in the water without life jackets.
