Evinrude 4.5 looses power and goes dead

Bought a small motor to mount on back of my housboat beside the the big engine...it is a long shaft old evinrude 4.5 HP and it will run fine as long as you squeeze the bulb..but will run down and go dead.. also where i can if find new parts.

Hey, stoney. Sounds like a dead fuel pump to me. Could also be restrictions in the fuel pickup, fuel line to and from the fuel pump, or poor venting of the tank.<br /><br />Good luck.<br />JB

Thank you Mr. JB, am working with new tank and new fuel line...so probably fuel pump..am trying to figure out where to get the part as the are no dealers nearby
