evinrude 150xp lower unit

Can any one tell me how to take the lower unit apart to check the gears in it. it is a 1985 evinrude 150xp.
can anyone tell me how to take the driveshaft out of the lower unit. I all ready have the BEARING HSG off the driveshaft .Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.
