Engine Information Needed

I am new to the boating scene. I have inharited a 18' 1989 Thompson I/O boat. The engine, 4cyl., 3 Liter, has OMC stamped on it but there is a Mercury Marine tag on it. This tag has a number on it, 3770835. A closer look at the engin block has Model No. 302AMRGDP and Serial No. T1038268 on it. I have also found a Model # 98528 and serial number, T0147147 & T0608485. Can anyone find out any information on this for me, like horsepower, max RPM, anything. Thank you.

302AMRGDP indicates a 1988 engine without power steering.

Thanks Clanton. Is this engine then considered an OMC 1988 (straight or V?) 4cyl, 3 liter engine? Why is there the tag on it that says Mercury Marine? Hope someone can give me some more help. I am very inexperienced with boats but would like to become more familiar with them.
