anyone know if an inflatable pool will float?

I want to see if it is possible to tie one to the swim deck and use a hot water heater on it. I don't have an inflatable pool to test with

I think it will float but if you plan on having it tied to the s/d the edges would probably collapse . The outside pressure would equal the inside and would take on water or lose water .
Give it a shot and let us know how it goes ..

Maybe get one of those pools with the inflatable ring around the top attached to just liner on the sides & bottom. You really just want the top to float & fill the inside with water that will sit below the water line. Can't see this working as well as you hope, but good luck!

If you look at the two photo's of pools, they are specially designed systems with reinforced upper flotation connected to a vinyl sack below. One even has the ability to moor a boat at. Not some flimsy back yard inflatable pool. As robert graham pointed out, don't be a fool and drown the kids with some hair-brain idea!! Just a BAD idea!!!!!!!!!
