hi
Got a sail boat about 11 feet and 60 kg. it is in a yard 200 meters from shore.
it had an aluminum trailer but broke down. I need a design for a wooden trailer i can build by my self. it should be simple, be dragged by hand and not by car.
I could not find materials for that. any help will be appreciated.
thanks in advance

You don't need a full-fledged trailer for this. I had a similar situation years ago. I used basically a platform with an axle and bicycle wheels onto which the boat was strapped. I pulled it by the front handles of the boat.

Time and effort building vs buy a very used trailer to move the boat.

I would think a cheap trailer would suit your needs faster and easier. No reason to reinvent the wheel.

Something like this but with 20" or 26" bicycle tires.

Or this type along the line of above...
I looked at Iboats and did not see this so excuse the outside link...

If set on using wood and building it, use these ideas and go from there.
