So i have layed glass over my hull. Epoxy and 6 oz e-glass. After sanding and beginning to fair, i realized about half of it was able to be scraped clean off. Thinking either contaminants or the rain that rolled in the night i finished got underneath or something. My question is, is the glass that remains safe? I tried my best to scrape it off but im worried it will delaminate with use. It will be faired and painted yet. Thanks

Without seeing what it looks like physically one other possibility for delamination is improper surface preparation. If this is the case there is the potential for more to delaminate.

Thats one of my worries. I sanded down with 40grit and cleaned it. Seems to be anywhere i didnt fully strip the prior paint is the issue. Out comes the grinder. Oh well.
