Day trip in Los Angeles area

Ok, want to take my lady and the kids out for a day. Much as I'd love to go to Nacimiento, a) it's too far and b) there's no water

Thinking Castaic, Piru, Pyramid or maybe Silverwood. Want to be able to toss the little rascals overboard and maybe drag the inflatable, so Cachuma is out.

Suggestions?

Silverwood is a pretty area but I don't know what the water temp is at that elevation right now. I would guess a little cold still. I attached a link to some rules and a map. I would go Castaic if you're over that way. Bigger and warmer
