Correct Size Props?

I have a 2001 Wellcraft 290 Coastal with twin 225 merc optimax. When i first got the boat 7 month ago it came with two 19's after a couple of month one of them spun the dealer didnt have another 19 so they put on a 17 and later on replaced the other 19 with a 17 since going to the two 17's i have noticed i have been using more fuel. What props would be best on this boat? Also I am a first time mercury owner and do not have much confidence in the dealer because of poor service.What is a good place to go to learn about these opti max engines. <br /><br />Thanks, JP

why would the dealer just replqace the hub in the spun prop?.....think I would demand to have props back that is if performance was good with them....If 19"s were doing ok and getting into power band of engines then 17"s may over rev engines and for sure are going to use more fuel....
