My torwue wrench only reads ft. lbs and the manual speaks of in. pounds. So, if manual calls for 100 inch pounds how many ft pounds is that??
Do you simply divide it by a factor of 12??

Most ft/lb torque wrenches are pretty darn inaccurate down around those ranges. Get a hold of a in/lb reading torque wrench.

How's the build going?

Re: conversion for torque

Thanks unicorn, thats exactly what i did!!

Thanks Paul, already found that out as i snapped a 5/16 bolt, I just cut back a little and continued on, got everything buttoned up already and ready to head onto lower unit, had to do alot of rocking to get lower unit pulled out of way, and figure its gomig take some time to get linkage ajustments figured out. The manual(cylmer) is lousy and I am sorry I did not purchase a more in depth manual and one that deals specifically with this motor. But hopeing perserverance will pay off, thanks again for your imput.
