Consumer report on 4 stroke motors?

Is anyone aware of any comparisons among brands of 4 stroke motors? I'm in the market for a 9.9 long shaft for my Pearson 26. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a honda 15 and it is not a quite as the advrtising would lead you to believe, and parts are expensive, and the tiller handle cracks easily.
