Help! I'm in that harrible zone where I can't decide between a walk around 20- 22 foot or center console.

I want to fish alot but also cruise a little with the wife (I'd say 25% of the time)

I'm concerned that a center may find me shivering here on Cape Cod except during peak summer months. Is the added protection really worth the space you give up in a WA?

Your wisdom will be appreciated.

Get a CC, Capecliff, and a good folding canvas shelter and flying top set. A walkaround takes up too much room for what it offers. A good dodger and flying top offer the same, or better, shelter, and you can fold them up and out of the way when it's time for action.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

Howdy Capecliff. A flying top is like a short Bimini. It becomes a top set with a windshield that connects to to forward shelter, side curtains and an aft curtain. You end up with a weatherproof shelter that includes a standing helm as well as the front area. ****ed nice in a squall.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

Have you looked at any center cabins? You get weather protection and full walkaround.
