Anyone have a carrot stix rod they are using? What do you think about it? Please give any info you want to share on this rod. Thinking of buying one.

Tracker, you need to ask a mod to move this to Freshwater Fishing. You'll get a lot more beta there.

Just about everyone I know that bought a Carrot Stick broke it. Some two, before giving up on them.

If you really want one, buy a decent rod and a can of orange spray paint. No one will know the difference

Seems like a huge gimmick to me...

Why would I want a fishing rod made out of carrots anyway?

Or, the better question, why would anyone want to build a fishing rod out of carrots? CARROTS, the stuff Bugs Bunny snacks on....

Fresh carrots snap easily,old ones are pretty flexible.Maybe the broken rods were made w carrots that were too fresh!!

used em for the past 3 years and have not a single problem with breaking any of them.. absolutely love mine

Always a few comedians around . I've never tried one, but a friend of mine has one and seems to like it. I understand they're good if you dip them in ranch dressing first . Sorry about that, I couldn't resist.
