I have a 1987 mercury 9.9 and my primer pump is giving trouble. I was wonder what the part number is for the carb kit that i would need to fix it. I have searched and i keep getting different numbers. Would a sierra gasket kit #18-7212 work?

Yes, when cleaning pay attention to the 2 check valves in the primer system.
