Don't know if you are still interested in the caravelle cosidering when you posted the question but check out caravelleboats.com or caravellemarine.com . I can't give you a unbiased opinion about them because I work at the plant.

Taz,

That was a curious response (at least to me). How about an unbiased opinion? As long as you've given your disclosure as you have, I am sure others won't mind and would appreciate your thoughts on Caravelle. I know I would as I bought a 209 with a Volvo Penta 5.7Gxi/sx in April. I have over 65 hours on her now and think it's a great boat.

What do you think?

Taz,

Bias or not. Let's have the story seen form your angle of view (without you putting yourself in trouble in your job relation, ofcourse).

Don't care about inside company-stuff but really would like to know about the way they're designed and build etc. etc.

taz33911 - whut Adversary98 and UU said. We all know Caravelles aren't perfect. Neither are Ebbtides, Maxums, Rinkers, VIPs, etc. But comparisons are always useful. Especially for areas that shoppers can't examine, like hull layup. Seems to me that Caravelle is pretty competitive for its market segment. But then I'm just a tire-kicker.

Kelly Cook
