I know some one can help me with the year of my Johnson 5.5 # J 2 4 2 2 8 8 4.<br />and the model #<br />Really soory to ask for it here but I can't seem to get it anywhere else

OMC used to have site called docktalk with this info but after bankruptcy/sell-out to Bombardier, I don't know where to look now.<br /><br />There is an outboard forum here at iBoats. You stand better chance of answer there.<br /><br />BL...

I could if it is 1980 or newer but I need the model code#. Should be a # & letter code on the same plate as the serial #. like J25TELCT as an example....

I have a Evinrude 115 serial # J0002640<br />model # 115493-B, I'm trying to locate the<br />year.
