Cal 25 curiousity

Hello, I am new to this forum and sailboating. Having just purchased a 1966 Jensen Cal 25 I am curious if anyone familiar with this brand and model would have any advice. I am taking the boating safety course Saturday and hoping for a Monday-Wednesday launch, weather permitting. Happy Sailing,Jake.

I am launching from Cape May, New Jersey, across the canal to the Delaware Bay, then NW to the inlet of the Maurice River. Very much looking forward to the trip, thanks for the ideas on links-Happy Boating!

Made the trip, the wind and water co-operated wonderfully. A friend who captains a schooner came along with myself and one other friend, we all had a real good time indeed. Mammoth thanks to Captain Bill Mylett, your expertise made the "Verboaten"s maiden voyage possible and enjoyable.
