I have a 1965 Aristocraft 17 fitted with a 1999 40 HP Honda 4-stroke and hydraulic steering. I tried to adapt it for salmon fishing out of Humboldt Bay, but it just wasn't working out. Now, I'm trying to get a feel for an appropriate price for it. I rarely get out on the ocean more than twice in a season, so the motor has seen pretty light use. It has all the original gauges and compass on the dash; not sure what the original interior looked like, but this one has the original seats with all the original cushions but one. One of the previous owners built a cabinet that fits over the built-in fuel tank with storage on either side. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this? You can e-mail me at buschdog2003@yahoo.com.
