I "fixed" the broken 1/4 -20 screw today. I first tried to mig weld a nut to the screw but the wall of the screw wear weaken by drilling and would just braek off, did this three times. Man that mig heated things way up, that screw was cherry red but would not break free, I figure it must be cross thresded. After this I figured to go on and drill it the rest of the way out, even off center and would surely go into the AL head some. But then It hit me, the drill I used for the easy out was a #25 exactly right for a 10 - 24 tap. That did it nicely worked just fine. So its done now just waiting for the pump kit to arrive. Anyonne have tips on installing Seedi-Sleeves? I got a groove on the seal area of the drive shaft I want to fix. Iguess its next. Thanks to all those who chipped in on the broken stud, wonderkind all. Tight lines ~ Fish
