BRAVO 3 upgrade to X DRIVE$$$$$$?????????

Is 2,500 $ a good price to get your bravo 3 upper upgraded to the X drive equivelant? guy said roughly 500 is for labor. does this seem right?

A standard B3 is rated to 400 HP, a B3X is rated to 450 HP.

If you feel you need the extra 50HP capability bad enough, $2,500 probably isn't a bad price.

Im sorry if i didnt make myself clear enough, I need to replace the gear set in my bravo three upper unit the present one is shotty at best. This guy told me he can put in the bravo X gears upgrade so its pretty much an X just in the old shell. its not for hp needs. it just seems the right thing to do, if im replacing it anyways. So just the upper gets changed.

That sound reasonable. Seeing as though the "original Bravo-1" gear sets are obsolete. I didn't study prices on the parts but 5 hrs is reasonable for labor. Are they going to clean the lower gear hsg & reseal that also?

I hope they did. 2700 with labor, probably shoulda just bought a whole new drive but then how could i afford beer.
