Thanks for answering my question!I've found duct tape to be superior to any strap covering, oem or otherwise
Works good on older aq vovlo drives too, for those that cross post here
Working my B3 drive later this AM. Will measure for youMy boat is 8 hours away and I need a measurement made for something I am sewing for my drive. I need the length shown in my photo below.
Even better would be a circumference measurement if that is asking too much.
Would much appreciate it.
Thanks

You betThanks for answering my question!
Perfect...thank you very much. I will likely make the strap slightly longer just to be safe.Just went out to garage and measured it. That length measurement is 17" (plus or minus where you measure, since it tapers a bit). Circumference is 34
There is an additional port(secondary port) on the nose of the drive that needs to be blocked off when on muffs. If you don't, you will lose water and possibly suck up air too.Ok, I'm totally ignorant regarding the bravo 3, why do you block off the intake port?
Some of them have it, not all. There is an additional port(secondary port) on the nose of the drive that needs to be blocked off when on muffs. If you don't, you will lose water and possibly suck up air too.
Was up, but yesterday was my day to be an 'IT Consultant' so I was off to the office. Just getting back to the forum now. I do not have a measurement for that, and the boat is at the summer house. (sorry). FWIW - I use a towel and bungee cord to cover the nose-cone inlets on my B3's when I use the muffs.good painters tape works too. However we know that @tpenfield is probably up. Hey Ted, can you answer the length question?
