Boat shopper needs info

Anyone familiar with old Lone Star boats? I'm going to check out a 1975 20ft aluminum cuddy. Also,how about the stability of a 1965 Starcraft 16ft fiberglass? I'd like to take it out on the ocean on fairly calm days. It has a 1984 Johnson 85. The Lone Star has a 1975 Evinrude 70. Thanks very much for any info!

Those are both nice fresh water boats with good engines. Check for leaky rivets in the Lone Star.<br /><br />Neither is an off shore boat. "Nice weather" is Neptunes favorite way to lure 'lubbers to their deaths.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . . <br />JB
