Didn't know where to post this so i figured i would start here, My name is KEN and have been running 2 stroke motors for 30 plus years. Sorry if i have offended anybody on here but i will give my opinion on any post i feel fit. If that is not allowed, do as you will. Will not comply with any censorship, Like as told, I will DIAL it back a bit. SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE. Unless this is also is seen as combative.

Ken, There are a lot of inexperienced posters and lurkers. It is important to help them with clear, precise and correct advice. Giving them advice that is not known by you to correct and proper or recommending products that are contrary to OEM guidelines is not what they need.

The forum's aim is to be helpful, not divisive or combative. If you do not know the answer to someone's Q, without doubt, don't weigh in, or identify it as a guess.

There are a lot of symptoms that are well known to have specific causes. A gross example is a 70's inline Merc with water in the bottom cylinder. It is likely caused by bad crankshaft seals or a leaking exhaust component, either inner cover or baffle. It could in theory, be other things, but those other causes are very rare.
