Flahthead we have a camper and stay at McClear's Cottage Colony (315) 375-6508. I have heard that the Log Cabin is also a good place (315) 375-6691. There are many other places up there and they do fill up fast. There are many places and ways to fish the lake. We are mostly bass fishing and fish the weed beds around Tavern Island, Prince Island Rollway Bay and around Big Island.<br />We use real worms and rubber worms. I have done good with Mepps spinners also. If you are looking for pike I have been told minnows in the weeds at the west end of Bowman Island and Hogsback Island is a good spot. The main thing to REMEMBER is it is a shallow lake and make sure you have a good map and watch the buoys.
