runs good at trolling speed 3500 rpms, but if i want to do some deep drops the engine will die out. for example, troll in the morning then hit the drift later, while drifting the engine will start to idle roughly then die, if i don't raise the choke. will also kick out if I'm backing down over the lines slowly.i can keep it from dying out if i raise the speed a little. water outflow is steady, and starts up everytime, staring to think maybe its time to clean the carb. run seafoam in fuel most days.any ideas????? thanks guys

Time to clean the carbs. I run across this all the time. Even my starboard 50hp Honda started acting up at the end of last year and it's on my list of things to do before fishing starts.
