Recently had the chance to pick up this boat in relatively mint condition. Does anyone have any information on this model. At best I can tell it was made only for one year

Not 100% positive but i believe you are correct. That year Bayliner made three CC models that I know of. The 1710 85hp Force, 1910 120hp Force and the 2110 twin 85hp Force. I bought the 1710 new off the show room floor for around $11,000. Took it straight to the lake and never looked back. I could launch and retreive it alone with very little effort (galvenized Escort trailer with bunks). One thing I could NOT figure out was why this rig did not have power tilt/trim???? This was added within one week. I can"t imagine going very long without it. I fish on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin and this body of water can bite you if you aren't careful. Shallow (20 feet max) and big, some 7 miles wide and 30+ miles long north to south. I used my 1710 when this lake was at its worst and NEVER had a close call or even a scare. You are now the owner of a fine hull and I wish you many years of enjoyment. Now back to your question, yes I do believe that is the only year this boat was made.....WHY??? I don't know.

THERE ARE MORE FISH TAKEN OUT OF A LAKE THEN EVER WERE IN IT
