We're west coast boaters who were silly enough to buy a Tiara 35 Express just before the hurricane season in Ft. Lauderdale. We have kept the boat there so we could cruise the Bahamas in March and/or April 2006. My wife and I have boated most of our lives both in sail and power (ages 60/58). Prior boats were 5.5M sail, San Juan 34, Hunter 35.5., Bayliner 2750 and now the Tiara 35 Express (cruise 12-25kts). We have cruised Pacific NW (San Juans and Gulf Islands), the Florida Gulf from Ft Meyers to Sarasota, Baja Calif., and Southern Calif., We are looking for a/an experienced buddy boat(s) to partner with for 2-5 weeks in the Bahamas from Ft. Lauderdale March and/or April 2006. Is there anyone out there who would like to mentor us on such a trip?? I am a real estate broker in SoCal and my wife is a kindergarten teacher.
