B3 corrosion a non-issue for a trailer stored boat?

I'm looking at a 2004 Rinker with a B3 outdrive. I keep reading about corrosion issues. But, this boat has been stored on a lift all it's life. For my use, it will live on a trailer. I might keep it in the water overnight 10 times a year. Otherwise it will only be in the water for a day and then back on the trailer. Can I assume that the B3 corrosion won't be a problem due to the very limited water exposure. It would seem that as long as the anodes are good it will be fine. Correct?

Correct. Put fresh anodes on and you should be fine. Plenty of Bravo 3's spend months in the water at a time. Not to worry.

You did not mention if your boating is in fresh water or salt water.
If salt water, I always flush my on the muffs after each use and use salt-away from time to time in case that might help also.
There's also corrosion that can take place where the water hose enters thru the transom assuming the water pickup is via the B3.

It will not be a problem! You may notice the anodes corroding a little (surface corrosion on the actual anodes) if it sits in the water for several days. Mine had a little surface corrosion just sitting in Shasta Lake for a week. I only noticed it because they were new.

Otherwise, there's no problem (and my Mercathode is not connected)

Bravo III or not, I wouldn't leave any boat in the water for extended periods (several months) of time........salt or not!

If there is none on it now you should be fine- you have different anodes for salt vs fresh so you want the right ones- I would make sure the mercathode system is working however, merc is not into putting extra parts on it...
