Hello. I have been debugging a nissan nsf15 on a different thread, but had a new question.
I noticed in my (used) service manual that someone had hand written "5-7 ohms @20c" for the resistance of the abs.
I checked mine, it's 23.3 ohms.

Can anyone confirm the resistance of the abs coil?

Thank you

I don't have that motor to compare, but with low ohm readings it's important to double check your probes to make sure they have a low impedance. Touch both probes together and make sure you're getting something very close to zero ohms. If you're not then solve that problem before reading the coil. I hope this helps.

I actually found an 80 ohms resistor in my bench, and it read accurately.

It pays to save junk!

It also read good (o.1 ohm) when touching probes

I just checked the one I have here... 19.8 Ohms at room temp. You can apply voltage and see if it retracts appropriately.

btw... have you checked your PMs?
