caught 1 last week and 2 today , nice ones , but too small to keep ,caught em spinning using a lane minnow

Most of the lakes here in western Washington are closed to trout fishing until the end of April. A few rivers are open. Lake Washington is open year round, that's the BIG lake here. I've been out a few times, seen a lot of trout on the fish finder, but they arn't hungry yet. I went out on my birthday (St. Patricks day), but struck out.<br /><br />Jerry

yup went rainbow trout fishing today. Water was in the high 30's about 2 feet high. I caught 2 rainbows using roe bags good day

Still very much winter,up in the mountains this<br />week end. Sunny skies but all is still frozen.<br />Lots of ice no water on top yet. Caught a handful<br />of lake trout on buzz bombs. The river is rising<br />slightly.It'll be at least 5 to 6 weeks before<br />ice out yet though.

Caught 4 rainbows yesterday after work on the way home, season closes here saterday. Rained here a few days ago and the water is still a little high. About a week ago I hit the limit in 20 minutes!<br />Richard

I got my first fish of the season today! on the first cast a nice 2 pound bass! I used these soft plastics
